Ah the torque steer love it, definitely a lot more aggressive in the 182, from what i recall i used to get a bit in the saxo too. I had a 2000 W plate, one of the first with teardrop headlamps.
You're forgetting the handy nets, by the side of the gear lever - you can fit two cds in each one - the joys having no glove box in a VTS.
Great car, as Chris says I don't think there's much difference, between the two. I wish I still had mine (along with my 182)
My Racing Blue is on the rollers, I'm also seen helping to push the corrado of the rollers. Top class videos Pete, some nice angles - backboxes on the black gold 182, bloody big.
Make sure the dealer doesn't try and lay the blame on you or your missus, with the old "well the damage wasn't there when we sold it to you - You must of done it..." routine.
Swan Renault in Chichester had (a week or two ago) an 04 plate 172 (it was an import) up for £10495 - i think a little pricey seeing as i bought a brand new one off them for £12k.
Seeing the car was first registered by Renault UK there could be a possibilty that it could be a press car ie leant out to the motoring press or used for trackday events.

How come it's a left hooker?? All the renaultsport 172 Clios (lutecia) from Japan that i've seen were right hand drive ???? Maybe the UK market took up all the right hand drive V6 quota??
You only get a one year paintwork warranty. Anti-corrosion warranty is normally six years.
Manufacturers will tell you the reason for only giving a one year warranty is that they don't know what you, the owner does to the paintwork when cleaning etc...
I ain't being a big head, am I slagging anyone off? No. Maybe I shouldn't of typed "cack" but for Renault to market the Dynamique (and by going on the brochure the 1.2 has the same suspension as the 1.4 and 1.6 versions) in a Clio sport collection is confusing. There are similar powered cars...
