When I owned my mini bad press from customers of mini tuning specialists or performance part retailers who gave bad:- customer service/poor quality parts or tuning/ long delivery delays would quite often end up with said business' responding on the mini2.com forum. Offering their side of the...
I'm surprised nobody from BBPT has come on here to offer their side of the story. Surely they must of heard about this thread on here by now. They're doing themselves no favours. Threatening behaviour no excuse.
The last V6s that Renault had were safety cars for Brands and a few other tracks, these have now been replaced with megane 225s. These safety cars are in yellow and are for sale now at a few dealers - top dollar prices though and as far as I know were 05 plates (although they weren't driven on...
Doing some double time at work today in another building from where I am usually based and it's absolute doss (i'm just sitting around while the vice chancellor does a load of presentations and I'm required to be here just in case anything goes wrong with the equipment he's using)
Anyway I've...
I had a Saxo VTS for just over two years, a few years back. Great car - 2nd best car I've ever owned. Only thing that ever packed up on it was the alternator at 17,000 miles, but that was replaced free of charge under warranty.
Why don't you go for a Clio Campus?? Front looks pretty agressive, rear is an acquired taste (so to speak) but with 5 - 6 k to spend you get a very good deal in terms of financing the other 1500 quid to buy one.
Renault are offering them on their website at £6600 bargain...
I've only bid 50 quid max - But could be worth a punt for someone on here, especially with no reserve.

Sportlines offer the greater drop around 25mm on a car with cup packs, 35mm without
Prolines around 10mm with cup packs, maybe 20mm without.
I've heard good things about the prolines, but wanted more of a drop without compromising handling so went for the sportlines and they haven't...
Roy, I've got Sportlines on my 182 Cup, only drops the car 20mm and to be honest it's probably not even that - but they are great springs, so much better than the Cup springs.
Buy 'em mate!
Re: My Rant at how sh*t Reanult dealers are
Perch, cancel your order. I know a 1.6 Dynamique is fairly rare, but there are plenty of 1.4's out there. 12bhp is hardly worth all the hassle you seem to have had.
I bought my 182 system from him off ebay - took about two days to arrive, although minus a couple of brackets and the bar that keeps the twin pipes separated. But to be fair i got the bar the next day after I called about not receiving it.
It's advertised in the For Sale, now it's on ebay too.
Snap up a bargain.
