i'm wierd and tend to keep my cars 3/4 years. I got my 172 last june and to think people would be selling it very soon is mental to me. My car still feels new and havnt done the mods i wanted yet.

I'm french (both parents are french) and my uncle owns a Renault garage which is pretty big and love going there when see the family. If I lived in france near my uncle i'd be sorted, get him to do all my mods and anything else all the time

I would say it doesnt need insurance but does need tax to be on the parked on the road.

:eek::eek: Ah s**t i been using ag machine engine cleaner on them every week for ages now. That'll be why they duller. I guess i'l do the whole polish seal wax thing next time i wash the car. Even though it'll take me ages and kill my legs.

I advise to try and drive a slower car for a bit like a 1.2. When u get back in urs u'll soon realise how much quicker it is.

Had this problem. had to have drive shaft replaced. problem fixed. Cost 250 quid

I've heard its just to reduce induction noise. I could be wrong but im sure someone will clarify

also depends on certain roads. I find some roads my car always feels fast. some it feels slow

sounds like gear linkage. My old car had probs going into 1st for 3 years. could never be arsed finding out what it was until one day i couldnt get it into 1st or reverse lol and had to get it towed to the garage.
