This is sometimes the case, but not always so.
They get email addresses from scanning websites/forums. In this case gmail.
They then email you, telling you that you need to change your password, but the email address it's come from might be "qmail.com" or something similar, with the exact...
A man with sense.
I still have my 6 year old 43" Plasma, don't want to get rid of it. Need to upgrade thought. If only they would resume, I would buy one straight away.
LX5090/6090 were my fabs.
That is very kind of her + you to offer such thing. As you are near me and if I do take up the offer, I will bring you a nice bottle of wine or whatever you want, as a very big thanks :)
Yap, if your handsets at home support it, great. If not, you can use your iPhone/Samsung/whatever with your sip client.
Or, install elastix on a home server or whatever :D
Prong, what is your connection to Virgin?
I might be getting a new house and trying to decide on BT/Plus Net/Virgin on Fibre.
If your discount does work, then I could be tempted for the 100MB connection. Minus the telephone line.
Thanks very much,
G.
I keep on getting emails/text messages that the o2 network is going to be upgraded.
However, when you try and find out more information as to what it is being upgraded to, there isn't anything available.
I presume they are moving all of the customers from o2 over to sky by June and that is...
Hi Longy.
It's going out on a single path at the moment, which is Fibre. But might get the voice to go out on the ADSL2+ line that we will have spare.
:)
Gamma have given me the numbers which is great, but 10 day lead time to implement. Not so great.
At least I have the numbers.
Need to look at their other services and how their SIP works, should be relatively straight forward.
Once I get this small office done, I will be doing all the others...
Back to topic with your question.
Depends on how much storage you need and what your budget is, plus if you need a better CPU.
712+ is very good, new version is 713+, only a two bay unit, so not much room for expansion through it's chassis, but you can get the add on modules.
Next up is the...
Boost the signal or have a separate network for it?
Depends on budget but I love these > http://www.ubnt.com/unifi
Alternatively something like the RN-16 with DD-WRT/Tomato installed.
Love Synology products.
Shame they don't have any with HDMI outputs, like QNAP will be doing. XBMC/Plex would be awesome, if running locally without a third party device.
Hi,
Looks like I will be using Gamma.
Only issue is their 24 month contract, but as long as their service is ok no issue.
Excellent stuff,
Thanks,
Gabi.
Jimmy,
Please don't get a drobo.
Cheaper option
Microserver
More expensive option
Synology
Netgear ReadyNas
Qnap
Also, try and use WD Red's, but you can use Greens if you flash the firmware (too much effort)
Thanks,
G.
Hi Guys,
I need 10 x channels for now and 30 DDI's.
Numbers need to be local, 01's
Any recommendation on providers? Have you guys bought directly from Gamma?
Thanks,
G
I use both Google Apps for some businesses and Office 365.
Both have their quirks.
Emails currently as IMAP/POP?
Additionally, what devices will you be using to access emails?
Thanks,
G.
Agreed. I think it's great that you can have Plex installed on the iPhone/iPad and use AirPlay, but not for every single movie and everything. Better off with the JailBroken ATV3 when it becomes possible or maybe the next iOS version for it, will include Apps. I think this is feasible...
WD live is a good tool, I bought one for my mum, she doesn't use it as she does not have a clue, but they are superb.
Additionally, you could get yourself a NAS or build one, such as a NL40, and install Plex/XBMC on it.
Alternatively, convert all movies to mp4 and use iTunes/Apple TV,
Thanks...
ahhhh yes, I keep forgetting that I have changed it !! :)
I'm always up for checking new technology, you have a good job !! Would be good to know if you guys are going to become resellers of it or not.

CloudStack to me looks rather similar to OpenStack but with an interface that seems more logical, will have a play when I can and see. Thank you for the heads up :)
Since I have stopped playing with cards, I have a lot more free time now, but taken up with other things such as the wife !!
