Yes, they sure are, iOPS on those are ridiculous, VMWare View toy :)
Not really to be honest, I need to get more into it, have you used it? I saw your blog, but you have not updated much on it :(
Thanks very much for all your feedback,
Gabi.
Hi,
Thank you very much for your reply.
Not trying to do anything at the moment ;) just want to know if any of you have used it or been involved with a project and wanted to find out more regarding the product, i'm quite partial towards the scale approach for infrastructure design...
Totally agree. They are brilliant tools however, you need to have the internet for the majority of things. There are some amazing ultra books available and coming up.
Re: iOS 6.1 is out
My proximity sensor appears to not be working properly on my 4, since iOS 6.x, this update did not fix it. Strangely enough, turning off FaceTime resolves the issue.
Hi,
Has anyone used Nutanix in their employment or projects?
I went to a VMug conference the other day, previously thinking it was another hype, but the product looks awesome.
Would be great to find our real life usage if possible.
Obviously this solution would not be great for everyone...
I think with streaming services such as netflix/lovefilm and having such tools as XBMC/Plex (specially plex where you can sync your movies onto the device instead of streaming), we will require less local storage for such items as the iPad.
Yes, some people use the iPad as a complete laptop...
Hi,
You can do that through various different methods, but jQuery would be your easiest.
Are you using Magento Community Edition, Go or Enterprise?
Thanks,
G.
Confused about your numbers and tariff, but might be interested.
I am definitely considering Tesco mobile, the only thing that is putting me off is tethering and visual voicemail (use both)
What is talkmobile like, never used them before?
Thanks very much
Hi,
Currently paying a lot of money on a rolling contract with o2.
Looking at simplicity deals with o2, 30 day rolling contracts and they are a lot more expensive compare to Virgin/Tesco Mobile.
For example;
Tesco
500 mins
5000 texts
1GB data
30 day rolling contract
£10 a month.
o2
600...
Hi guys,
Just wondering if you guys currently use LDAP for your iPhone address book queries and how you went about implementing it, if possible.
We will have around 50 iPhones, all managed through profile manager.
Our main environment is Windows, we are using Windows 2008 Enterprise for the...
Thanks :)
Don't forget that you will also be able to do VAT returns a lot easier and bank reconciliation (which is normally a pain in the ass)
I currently use GetHarvest, but due to limitations, I am unable to carry on with it fully (even thought their invoicing is very nice) so looking at...
Xero is good too, I like web based because I don't have to worry about backups, I can check invoices online anytime/place I want and even invoice from my phone/ipad. The reporting aspect is rather good too, instead of using excel it makes it much easier to provide the information to the accountants.
It looks superb.
The other good thing is, that they have built this with the android kernel, I am not too sure how they have done this but potentially, this means that the OS can run on any device which is already running android.
Whatsapp is pants on WP7.5, as it doesn't always provide you notifications unless you go into the app.
Looking forward to 7.8 for my Lumia 710, and might get a new phone with WP8.
I find it so much easier to use and friendly than Android, even though you can do a lot more on Android.
ML isn't all that.
I think Snow Leopard is still the best OS.
That would be an ideal Plex/XBMC machine.
Upgrade RAM from Crucial or like, and get an SSD in there, that will be a best of a machine.
