I am still un-decided what to get.
Always been a PS guy, but the Xbox one, with the multimedia element of it, really does win me.
Not bothered about this whole 10% better graphics here or there, it's about the experience so to speak.
Only issue, here in Australia they are a lot more expensive...
This is the way i'd go to be honest. Better solution.
Some of the cameras do not need any third party elements, if you have a NAS you can save to that too.
Quite a few things I like, and some that should have been here a while ago.
What I like;
Markup - very handy. Specially for those people that aren't very IT savy and just want to modify some images for changes.
SMS integration.
Call integration - Picking up calls on the ipad/desktop is great...
Pointless, waste of money, costing companies a fortune.
Imagine you are nike or something like that, all the stupid domains you now have to buy, to preserve your corporate branding.
Meh
People say Bose is expensive but Sonos is well over priced.
I do like their system it's also a winner because it is wife friendly but the price is quite a lot.
For instance, if you want stereo, you need a couple of say S3's, then if you want some semi descent base, you need the sub too.
2 x...
You sure it looses connection?! A quick test with a cable will illustrate if its a wireless issue or if your DLNA server is being silly.
For instance I use Plex, via WiFi, on Sony TV I use DLNA and its great. Even with 8GB files, when streaming 3D its pants. This is due to the data being...
I've had iOS, Android (currently Nexus 5) and various windows phones. I think I prefer the windows OS out of all of them.
Really looking forward to trying 8.1
I used to work for an insurance company.
Its based on value and the policy type.
If a like for like policy is purchased then the following applies depending on t&c's.
If I buy an insurance policy to cover my £600 phone and in a years time I break it. I expect them to replace my phone for the...
I am very welcome to change, apart from women ruling the world.
However I quite like the start menu and its a welcomed return.
Makes business sense to put it back in, if people loved it.
It's the SSD.
I bet your MBP is a standard HD?
Seriously, an SSD is one of the best improvements for normal computers, then ram (normally)
Most comps CPU is stupidly quick, even normal laptops. Hard to saturate unless doing video or something a long those lines.
My Mac Mini, is a i7 2.3 with...
i must admit, I'm a PlayStation fanboy. Had the PS1,2, and still have the 3.
I was dead set in getting a ps4, but really considering the Xbox, not only due to games but the media centre elements and the ability for the wife to use the kinect for exercises and general messing around.
I'm...
You are welcome. If you're dedicated and can practice on labs, I don't see why you cannot. It's all about experience, troubleshooting, patience. VMware also have online labs you know ;)
Do the VCA's like I said and get cracking. Don't do what most of us do (including me) and waste time.
Get...
Apologies. I did read that but it's late here, so not fully taking it in if that makes sense.
Step 1
Do the following qualifications; (try and find vouchers) no physical course required, online CBT training (material on VMware website) additional reading will be required.
VCA-DCV
VCA-CLOUD...
Depends what you want to do.
VCP is a good course / exam to have under your belt as well as the windows stuff, MCITP. Why not do the easier VCA ones first, there are 3, 4th should be out soon.
But nothing beats real world experience, exams are so you are noticed and can get passed HR's minimum...
First and foremost, there are chavs in Guildford like anywhere else, but not that bad you cheeky git! (comment you made on another thread)
Secondly, the course is not free, unless you get sponsored through your company. If you can, DO IT.
Material, pluralsight.com, register watch all the...
Backing up android phones is w a n k
I need to swap my nexus 5 due to the issues having with it, don't want to lose my setup , including whatsapp conversations. The amount of fannying around I have to so is immense.
iPhone, sure can't play with it as much but my god is iTunes easy for backing...
No worries, hope they make things a bit better. If they do, please let me know so I can pop down the shops and collect a big TV!
Wish they had a john lewis here in Australia, extra warranty is $300 for 3 years.
Bloody Spaniards. Always first to fix things ;) looks pretty cool, only two issues is WiFi and the calibration of the pointer. Sure they'll work it out soon.
Thanks for that. I've read that my reducing the contrast to below 50 and turning off the auto light features can virtually remove this, did you try that? I'm really considering getting it. How are you finding the smart TV elements and the remote ?
How you getting on with the HX853?
Most feedback states that is the best TV they had released.
I am looking for a new TV again, was going to get the F8000, but a lot of quality control issues at the moment apparently.
Considering getting the Sony 905 series. Any thoughts on this model?
The...
