Valid point. :)
Well, I am hoping to convert.
Are you using the Nexus 4?
The think I like about iOS is that everything seems very logical, in the right sections and the settings menu is clean/clear to use. Account management is easy for email/calendars and all of that.
I think for me...
Not too dissimilar to what I am saying.
Nexus 5 selling for cheaper than it should be.
LG G2 higher markup, making up the difference.
The old Samsung Nexus S was apparently sold at a loss, simply to drive the market a bit more. Google can afford to do that.
Isn't Google's Fibre service sold...
Apologies if that didn't make sense.
What I meant is that if a similar spec phone by LG is £500 and the Nexus 5 is rumored around £250 to £300 for the 16GB, Google must be putting in quite a bit of money.
Or maybe simply, that the LG G2 is a huge mark up.
That is all :)
No idea, but if the LG G2 is £500, I would say that it's been subsidized by quite a bit.
Slightly off topic but good article about the Android controlling open source. http://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2013/10/googles-iron-grip-on-android-controlling-open-source-by-any-means-necessary/
They are not budget, they are been subsidised by Google. Two different things.
A lumia 610 is a budget phone, this isn't.
I think if they had the better battery, they would sell like hot cakes.
HTC one order cancelled by colleague and will be getting a Nexus 5 instead.
Personally, looking forward to this.
Some of the rumours really do vary for instance 8mp or 13mp camera.
Battery sizes different depending on storage version.
Thanks,
G.
Smart a$$..... ;)
Did have a look on Google but there was no concrete date.
I had asked my dodgy reseller, some company called Softcat......... but was waiting for a reply from our account manager.
Date is the 1st of November apparently.
Hi,
Some of you guys are resellers of MS.
Just wondering if any of you have a date for the release of 2012 R2?
I need to buy some data center licenses, but don't want to buy them before this is released as we don't get SA.
Thanks,
G.
That is a shame if a smaller battery.
Certainly up for a nice phone.
It'll be my first serious Android phone, so trying to decide on the Nexus 5 vs HTC sense, but seems the LG and the new Sony are both rather good. What is the LG Android version like?
The three questions are;
1) How much data are we talking about in regards to storage?
2) What are you using for emails at the moment? Exchange/iMap/something else?
3) Do you currently have MS office installed? (I presume so)
Prescription based or local, either or will be offset against your...
I had the Samsung Nexus and I thought it was crap. Slow/juddery and would restart often plus only 512ram I think.
Looking forward to this Nexus 5 though. If the screen is massive, I will get the Nexus 4 (If I can find one)
Really considering getting a Nexus 4.
iPhone 4 with iOS7 is very slow. (yes, I know it's a 4 and not the quickest one)
I once tried a Galaxy Nexus for a month and sold it, as it was too laggy, wifi was shocking and kept crashing.
Wondering if the 5 is enough of an upgrade to wait?
Thanks,
G.
I don't want to go through all my voicemails, I get lots.
I just want to pick and choose which ones I classify as important prior to listening to all the crap :)
