Are you all fitting it in the correct order. From front - ac rad- intercooler rad-coolant rad
Shouldnt have to bend the ac pipe. Did it on my dads 65 fitting a DCI 80 intercooler and it fitted snugg. Bearing in mind my proper DCI 80 has a rubber flexi hose for the ac top part so it misses the...
You can have the pump and rail for postage costs if needs be :)
Its not like I'm going to need it when I'm taking the DCI engine out for something bigger soon.
I do have a set of spare injectors too but haven't a clue if theyre fucked or not as I haven't had them tested
Alex , go under your bonnet and tel me which way the wires on the pre coolant glow plugs go ( colour wise )
im on about the coolant pipe that goes behind the thermostat to the bulkhead. One of those pipes is bolted the gearbox with a load of wires on.
Ive stupidly forgot to reconnect them when...
I can't remember the actuall running pressures of the fuel rail sensor working properly.
I still have your old pump(from the other DCI) and a rail that I know works sat in my garage , as I got a recon one when I changed my engine lol
Sounds to me like a pump issue or fuel rail sensor having a hissy fit.
You'll need a good diagnostics tool to read live data.
Once you do, go on live data , watch the fuel rail pressure on cranking.
Definatly not EGR
Ive had this twice on old fuel pumps/injectors.
One pump did what you...

Let me know when yours is done so I can then get mine ( Altho I'm sure he'll tell me to f**k off after last time :o )
As far as I can see, hear its coming along nicely sharky! :)
That's what I have wondered but finding the correct material that won't break up is going to be a nightmare.
You never know.... You end up doing it and I'll end up buying another 1.5 lol
Yeah mines the bluetooth one.
was abit scared of using bluetooth on a cloned tool but it works great if no big fecking vans are parked in the way.
Yeah I had that, can't remember how I fixed it , think I searched on google and there something about it.
Waiting for then 2014 update then will...
Took me while on how to read maps with the tool, it's under some sub section.
Which one you got? 2013 or the earlier ones?
Mines the early one with flight recorder and it does work now.
Was something to do with how I installed it on the laptop. Didn't like windows 7 but Xp runs fine with it...
Nope , I can download the maps through the Delphi diag tool from my ecu and then use the other software I've got to rewrite the maps.
Altho I havent a clue how to rewrite maps and don't really want to try it whilst it's my daily lol
Yes the integrity of the cars structure will be altered, BUT that's what body jigs are for.
Last time I helped to change a roof skin, we had to weld several cross bars to the inside of the car at certain points whilst f**king about with the roof. Hasn't rusted in over two years, probs down to...
