Good point, if it doesn't hold up to a pd engines torque, I'll beef up the mounting points. theres two ways to hold a pd tho, side mounts like a dci or lower rear mounts ( mk2 owners do this ) and no side mounts BUT I'd need a golf subframe yeah I've got the diagram for the imob it's self...

I've spent 1k already on pd parts for the conversion. Haven't even got the uprated clutch yet and that's 800 on its own drive shafts custom made ( vw gearbox bolt flanges to dci hub cups ) are 200 a side. The list goes on. Hope to get it done in time for CSS. Good 8 months away. car is stay...

Medical alcohol ( isopropanol ) or what's ever it is that detailers use diluted to clear polish residues if that don't clear it then glass polish

I'm sure most MOT stations check the wheels and backs of them when checking suspension and such underneath. The mot guy I use does and he WILL fail stuff like that dependant on severity

Won't get much out of the standard 65 tbh. Intercooler and a proper map will help allot. might BE a it of a faff to get a rs tuner map sorted for it aswell

I don't post my DCI up much anymore as I haven't done feck all to it for months on months. will do when I'm knee deep in engine oil ( sounds wrong I know lol ) haha , get the other trim for me ;)
