Just orderd a set of woosners 12:6 pistons for the clio :D
Went for standard size with total steel rings, getting the block decked and honed by Headshop UK, need to find some tri-metal or copper/lead bearings and new mains.
The head already has headwork so I think I will leave that at that...
I know socks look w**k, but is there any performance loss with them?
Im looking to run 120mm trumpets over the 90's but the bonnet wont shut with the deeper filter?
With socks the 120s will fit :(

Why are people listing two types 172 & 182? Marketing scam? Or are they the same?

Just got my car back after having the decat and stealth fitted, made such a difference! The pops are scary loud now though..like so loud it smashed a bus stop window! :/
But all in all its seems like a whole new car, just keeps picking up to the redline!

1. Why wont these fit OEM rods, can I not modify them to fit...

When the clio actually worked, when I would put my foot on the gas the temp gauge would sit at a constant max, then if you left off or go up a slight hill it would drop back down to normal level!
(car was not overheating btw)
Also has OMEX 600.
Could just be a temp sensor for the coolant?
I'm changing the pistons in my engine to high comp, but I'm still debaiting weather or not to fit forged rods!
I plan to fit ARP bolts anyway on the big ends! Will be reving to 8000rpm.
Worth the outlay (new there £450) ? Or will the OEM hold it?
