Have you tried taking the helper springs out?
I found that the fronts didn't go very low either, I ran mine at the lowest possible and I didn't want 'lowzz Yo!' In the first place.
Did you fit the spacer below the suspension top mount? Only about 20mm long iirc but I left it out after reading...
Blame Jason Plato and Matt Neal
"I'll rip your f**king face off..." Etc.
It will be a massive shame though if this gets derailed by a chequebook hero. That's not what this series is about. As long as some stay faithful to the ideology of this series then there should still be some decent door...
I feel sorry for Tony getting bombarded with all these questions!
It's meant to be low budget, entry level racing. If you're asking about dipping shells then surely this is not aimed at your level.
Dan/Tony,
Quite interested at this stage (I'll be living in the UK from next weekend onwards.)
I've always wanted to have a go at racing and this cheap, simple formula will make that accessible to me. Thanks for taking the time to speak to organisers etc.
Mine did the same thing when I changed my rear discs and the ABS rings were the culprit then. Properly scary situation. Handbrake should still work, but they are woeful on Clio II's.
