I would say lather is equivalent to hubiwash, but hubiwash smells better, but I found lather better priced.
I managed to get 3 washes from one, and 4 washes from another 50ml hubiwash sample
For simply use, I'd suggest 3M for pads and compounds. only 3 options of cutting, polishing and finishing, all colour coded compounds and pads. Elite car care sell smaller sample bottles of them. another option would be Scholl concepts, I've had pretty good results with them, followed by...
Dragons breath from VP is just another iron fallout remover, I've never used it so can't recommend it but reviews seem to think it's not as good as ironx
Use tar remover first, DO NOT let it dry. If the tar spots are bad after the first initial spray, spray it again and wipe over with a...
Most fallout and tar removers will have a negative affect on most wax or sealants, so only use them when you're planning on re waxing afterwards.
You can use them on a wet or dry panel, it if you allow them to dry they're likely to stain or cause some form of damage, so best to use them on a...
If youre car is well protected, next time you decide to give it a quick polish and re wax use a good tar remover and iron remover. This will limit the amount of times you'll need to clay a car, and when you do, there will be very little in the way of bonded contaminants there will be less risk...
If you can afford to, and don't want to deal with it yourself, take the brand new car to or get a detailer to the garage before they do it, to detail it and coat with a nano / quartz coating such as GTechniq C1 or CQuartz CQUK or similar. Will last 18months maybe more and these are the most...
Mix up an all purpose cleaner, daisy from Tesco is cheapest and dilutes well. cover delecate electrics, lightly spray areas to be cleaned, aggitate with a small brush and mop up with old microfibres.
Finish off any plastics with aerospace 303 or autofinesse dressle
On whites a sealant maybe best, a spray on like AutoFinesse toughcoat or werkstat kit are favourites. Spray on buff off job done. As easy to use as a quick detailing spray with approx 3months, making washing very easy.
A lot of the finish on light colours will come from a good decontamination...
it would be the quick flash off of IPA that would damage the rubbers, not anything else.
When applying dressings to the rubbers I will use IPA sprayed on a cloth and wipe them over to ensure they're clean. But this is only every couple of months max
Diluted VP citrus pre wash at their suggested ratios isn't as affective as AF Citrus power diluted 1:1. I'm yet to try VP at this dilution though. I've tried a few but still go back to citrus power so now buy it in bulk 5l bottles.
As said ez detail wheel brush then a valet pro 1" for the faces
For paint and glass, GTechniq C2 or Carpro Reload.
Just paint, autofinesse Toughcoat. Can be used on side and rear glass but might smear on the front.
Just glass angelwax h2go
A small tip. Once you've cleaned off all the bugs, get the paintwork protected with a wax or sealant. That way most bugs and grime will simply wash off until your wax or sealant wears off.
