For the sound alone, R5 makes the uno as boring as it looks.
Regular servicing and considerate modding the R5 was a faultless car for me for 4years, using it as a 2nd car for nothing but spirited driving. The local uno and punto turbos never got the attention of mine wih it's subtle pop and...
Pns does give great water behaviour, and it seems to last very well too. Don't think there'll be much trouble in it achieving its claimed 6months durability
Sounds like what you're doing is likely to inflict plenty of scratches and swirls, so try not to do that anymore.
First off is the car wax or sealed in any way? will give us an idea if we ned to consider wax safe products or not. Also if it is wax or sealed the bugs should come off easier...
T1 is another alrounder, leaves a nice finish IMO and lasts OK but preferred AF satin.
JD what kind of finish does blackfire leave, not really seen much on it.
for durability megs endurance, but I think it makes tyres look cheap and plastic. Only works if you have gloss black wheels IMO. AG versions look nice, but last till the weather forecast predicts rain then its scared off. AF Satin leaves a nice finish and average durability. Just got some gyeon...
If you stick with a DA, for the price I couldn't justify anything more expensive than the pro version.
With rotray, the 3m is considerably nicer to use over the EP801, but it shows up my poor technique more!
Your lance is not a proper snow foam lance, but the detergent bottle from karcher. Get a proper lance and it should be fine. I'm surprised you managed to get it that thick to start with
Yes, good beading should be nice tight spherical shapes, all uniform. Yours a quite flat, not round or same shapes.
Compare yours to hose pictured above and it's very different
Sorry but the pictures above aren't a good example of beading!
Autofinesse spirit, on a dusty panel after driving through a puddle stopping a few miles later.
A quick wash and it'll be fine, maybe need a re wax locally to that panel and job done
JD it wasn't removing the tar through abrasion, rejuvenate certainly doesn't do it like tripple
The gel apply direct to the spot you need it to work. It's more of an intensive remover than the general gel when working on small sections. For general iron removal look at the sprays
AF Tripple can lift very mild tar spotting, I guess in the same sense that the cleaners in this can, but it's far from being a tar remover!
Get yourself a proper tar remover to use before claying, even autoglym intensive tar remover will perform better than going straight to clay and then...
If only it lasted just a fraction longer, it would be the only wax you'd ever want to buy.
I've not used a wax that was so fool proof and effortless to apply and remove. And the finish isn't all that bad either!
IronX is nothing more than a pure iron remover. The cleaning ability you will get will be more from the wet agitation of the brush. the ironX will only have worked against the brake dust, not any dirt or grime.
In future give the wheels a general wash down first to remove the grime leaving...
Standard DAS6
Hexlogic black or blue, white and green pads
Menzerna PF2300(3.02), PF2500(203s) and SF4000(106fa)
tried and tested and if in stock will come out fractionally cheaper than the Sonus kit. I've never used myself or know anyone that has used sonus compounds or pads.
