If you're after 300bhp use a gt28rs with .64 turbine housing!
Would be pointless to bolt on a more laggy gt2871r when you're not going to use it's full potential..
Does anyone know wther the clio 2 different engine types have different brake servo's?
My Dci has a leaking servo so has to be changed.
Just wondering if i could mount a 1.2 one for instance.
And is the Sport servo bigger?
Want to mount it on my gtt as it has full Sport brake setup.
looks very nice Jacob! still have to visit you someday but i'm very very busy atm....
is the dash flocked? and what paint did you use on the engine and gearbox?
i know i know :p it already has taken to long and is still going to take a while, it's not only the engine build/conversion but also restoration of the car...
i don't question Henk's skills!:approve:
i understand what you mean chip but it only has to be mapped once, Henk has very much experience with these engines and management.
as i said it's on a budget so 500 quid would be 500 quid more than has to be spent....
still have my Gtt in the back of the shed which has a fully built forged F7R...
Very cool project mate! Looking forward to see the rest!I'm confident it will fit, there's a R5 with k20 engine in the Netherlands:http://www.vdbworks.nl/projecten.php?projectid=25
Very nice write-up chip!
Actually i'm not developing a box conversion but Scoff is!
I'm just one of the guys interested in it and willing to put effort in to get it all together and help others out.
Currently building a low-boost F7R on a budget to prove that can be done too. Going to be mapped...
when going forged low-comp you obviously won't need to machine the head. unless you are planning to run silly power.
i think the first bottle neck you will run into is the gearbox!
i want to see vids though:cool:
Looks very tidy Jacob!
I'm very busy so that's the reason i didn't show up yet.
Where are your brake lines for the rear brakes?
I think you could just use Sport radiator and hoses or just the original.
Nice! I have some 15" 8J smoor roadster which i want to put on my dci after the winter and lower it, only to make them look perfect the car would have to be stanced...
Don't get me wrong, i love it but i already have a r9 which is lowered 120mm and this is the daily...
02M DQB(s3) with diesel final drive(s):
Tyre Diameter = 1765.94 mm
1st Gear = 67.04 km/h
2nd Gear = 108.82 km/h
3rd Gear = 160.29 km/h
4th Gear = 210.53 km/h
5th Gear = 258.55 km/h
6th Gear = 311 km/h
glad to hear your making progress! would be great if the pattern works out too!
so i have the option to use oe management and maybe in the future swap to adaptronic for instance...
how the smoke from the front tyres clear you can tell it's almost stormy! did you ran with gear dependant boost...
