how far away is hillpower from you?nick has been tuning renaults for years and the only person who works on my car,he also has a rolling road in his unit which i'm sure someone will say isnt worth having,he has the mapping gear for the 172/182
mines an import and still has the imobiliser one way to find out is take the plip out of the key then see if it will start,i've got an autowatch alarm on my 172 and it has proximity sensor which was £280,i wouldnt bother with a clifford a few of my mates have got them and imo they are overpriced...

the holes on mine are fully ellongated cause i brought the camber bolts and then realised i didnt need them and sold them on here,so i dont know if h&r changed there design?
i had a lot of emmisions problems with the megane mate even when it was standard i had a new cat for it £120 and oxygen sensor and it still wouldnt pass the emissions test so i ended up getting a mot through a friend if you know what i mean,i dread to think what the emissions would have been...
so how many people do you know who own 182's and just use it as a track car and doesnt go on the road,it was a simple question i asked fred and i'm sure he will reply when he see's it
and what do you reckon the chances are of a 182 passing an MOT with no cat,when other people have only just got through the emissions tests with a sports cat on 172's
i've seen your car at pod before jay yours doesnt rasp like some of them,i've had a decat on every car i've owned and i've had to sort out special MOT's but cant be doing with it on the 172
this was that black clio that was on ebay recently from birmingham i think,i presume it was broke down as there was a low loader with it at junctoin 9 of the m6 bescot
the 172's sound awful with an unsilenced decat,you have to sort out the emmisions light which you hear alot of people moaning about whichever way its done then you've got to mess about when it comes to mot time so is it really worth it?
