i've got three mates who own GTT's and have spent massive money on them and there still nothing but trouble,at the end of the day your never gonna get accurate fuelling from a carb atleast the volvo lump is injection
i've got magnecores on my 172 and i had them on my megane coupe and have never had any problems with them, you wont get more power but they will do there job constantly, but i'm sure a few will post how crap they are!
the hillpower inlet manifolds are about £180 fitted with brand new renault gaskets i've got the hillpower induction kit aswell i think its a good peice of kit, nice and quiet when tootling around but a nice sound at full throttle, your best off ringing him if you need to know anything else...
i think the rsi's are underatted your best speaking to nick @ hillpower he's got a rsi engine in his clio and is making the same power atw as a 16v engine and being an 8valve power is through the rev range
i had my ecu and inlet manifold done at hillpower he has the mapping equipment to modify the standard ecu at a very reasonable price, and does the inlet manifold for about £150 (with new gaskets)he'll also give you a rolling road print out if you want one
no it dont fit ok you've got to have a front section made up for it as the 182 manifold is longer, supersprint do a 4-2-1 manifold for the 172 but gains arnt gonna be brilliant as it no bigger than the 172 unit
