Hi guys, im currently running about in a Smart car and the paintwork could do with some attention, although nothing too serious as its only a runabout.
I was going to crack the pc out on the metal bits to get the swirls out but can I use the pc on the plastic bits, i.e most of it!?
I was...
Give them a chance to sort it out, it shouldn't have had 300 miles put on it though. Fair enough a few miles for getting new tyres but that does give the indication they have put the right ones on.
How much was your deposit and did you commit to buying it?
Was it meant to have full dealer service history?
The dealer that did the work should have a record of this, parts will sell you a knew service book and the dealer will stamp it up to correspond with their records.
Im not siding with either of you but an interesting piece of info I discovered is that all the very wealthy people (I mean proper wealthy) buy their vehicles on finance.
Personally I paid cash for my car, im new in a job, the economys not great I could get made redundant at any minute last in...
Absolute minter, would be a cracking second hand buy. I still think you should get a classic car though and keep that mint, you would win some prizes surely?!
Cheers, the Lupo was a fantastic car and in a different league in many respect I just can't justify having £5.5k tied up in a car when I can have just as much fun and still have a nice car for less than half that. I will have a raven blue though one day with full heated leather ;)
I think it looks cracking, definatly needs a de-tango!
Cheers buddy, its such good fun to drive!
It was in the for sale section, I wasn't that bothered about selling it, only put it on ph, went so quick,
Seems to be economical, its by no means quick but it just puts a smile on your...
I was quite happy with the Lupo however the MOT and tax was coming up which is £250 assuming it passed so I sold for £400 more than I paid for it a year ago, not bad considering I stuck 7k miles on it ;)
Its definatly slower than the Lupo, that used to push you back in the seat in 2nd this...
After driving around in this for 2 weeks I wanted to drive it off a cliff, fine for someone who doesn't enjoy driving but it has to be the most dull car I have ever owned.
I decided I wanted something fun to drive but cheap to buy and run. This was the obvious choice, its in the best...
My current car has been sat for a while, it goes abit better now its had a few tanks of fresh fuel through it and i topped the oil up abit lol.
As said leave the handbrake off and the car in gear, either disconnect the battery or leave it on a smart charger if its garaged.

I have just used them, bought a set of Proxes for my mums Jazz and had them fitted at their local fitter, good price and no problems.
'forces1' in the discount box also gives a 5% discount ;)
I don't really like the style of it, its not something I would do personally however you can't get around the fact that its a proper show car that has been incredibly well finished using quality parts and labour. Even if you don't like it you have to respect the workmanship. From the photos I...
