Tidy little first car that, I would just stick with the alloys you've got maybe lower it and leave it at that. If your desperate from more speed you could strip it but I doubt you would shed much from a mk1.
You could do all sorts of things like valver wings and bonnets but personally I would...
I thought Jimbo's was the only non cup that was white. Unless its a 197ff? Are they available in white?
It had the same wheels as 197Gaz's albi so Im guessing its an FF then.
I didn't get pics im afraid unfortunatly vodafones courtesy phone doesn't have a camera.
Im glad I did, one of her neighbours has swapped his MCS for a Glacier white 197 cup with Recaros. Looks absolutely spot on, first one i ve seen on the road, its got the colour coded mouldings, I think its knocked Nimbus off the top spot for me. Will be sure to flyer it next time im round :)

Mattjk's on here, there...
I think you need a 172 engine and loom and key etc for it to work, or you have to splice into the 1.2 loom, dropping it in is the easy bit, the electics are a nightmare apparently.
Exactly, you could probably save a small amount doing it yourself but its just not worth the hassle and the time off work lack of transport etc.
Its the electrical aspect thats complicated I believe. The other thing worth bearing in mind is im sure KTEC offer some form of warranty on their work...
As said above belonged to Darren on here, they must of done a good job of repairing it originally as Darren didn't even know it was catergorised until he traded it in with Daniel.
Doesn't surprise me some t**t did up them up with a windy gun on my clio, wheel wrench + me and my brother bouncing up and down on a scaffold bar for 5 minutes and it eventually loosened.
I want a 172 Cup really, however a mint one is £5.5k. 182's are slipping down to around the £6k mark for a 50k miler. It therefore makes financial sense to get a 182 and get a decent deal.
I don't do depreciation, im only considering selling the Lupo as I reckon I can sell it for what I paid for...
