I lol at your reply.
I guess using it neat through a foam lance you can wind down the dilution mixture so it won't be quite as strong. I do that sometimes when I want to use up a product.
I haven't been using the pressure washer on recent washes due to a risk of hoses freezing, but did both...
I'd give it a go to start, but dependent on the colour and your choice of wax? I would probably also recommend autofinesse tripple.
But might as well try it as you have it. It certainly won't do any harm
This ^
A friend was using it on his black car after I gave it a quick protection wash, and when I presumed the LSO should have finished he claimed it was still beading and glossy. He used greased lightning every wash.
I put the hose on it and it did bead. Put the pressure washer over it and...
Just goes to show all that effort with the initial detail pays off when a car washes up so easily and looks almost as good as it did that first time.
My own tests have proved to show spirit as a very hard wearing and resistant wax
I doubt you'll tell any difference to the finish, and as they're both soft waxes doubt you'll find any difference in application or removal, durability or water behaviour.
I personally would do half the car with orange crush, the other side with purple haze
typically an inch / 100ml of foam in the bottom then fill up the bottle with warm water. Bottle is typically 1litre
adjust the dilution knob on top to mid way and give it a go.
The more powerful your pressure washer the thicker the foam, for the cheap little pressure washers typically make the...
Thanks for the offer JD but just bought sonax bsd and polymer net shield to to out.
Just hope I can out up with the non slick finish with the claimed water behaviour
aucky I used werkstatt prime, seemed to work pretty well, tough prep will lezve a similar base but without its own form of...
I can be if there is another little mini meet going on, I have a 50ml sample bottle 2/3 full you can have to play with.
@aucky
would like to see what difference visually they make on the trophy
It's all in the eye of the user, hence why glasur is so highly regarded I guess. it feels a bit more special to me as I like the way it feels, a little more slick when I used it. may be different over a different base, in this case it was werkstatt prime. Looks, marginally. But on my beaten up...
C2, it's a good performer, versatile, easy to use, dilutable, pretty cheap when you compare to how much is actually used per application. No reason not to like or recommend it.
When you get geeky about it, i like reload cos it feels more special :o
All in the technique, and mine is cr@p with DA. I'm better with a rotary
as Toby says it is a lot harder to damage with DA, but likewise you could sit there getting no cut at all if you go the other way to striking through.
Watch the junkmans and DaveKG videos on youtube as a good start
you can look at 500g being pointless in two ways.
one it adds more sanding to remove the marks incurred by the 500grit
two the plastic would have to be seriously pitted or damaged, not just UV damage and hazing before you would need anything even close to 500grit.
ie you made more work for...
As true as the packaging is pretty basic for a expensive wax, it really doesn't matter when illusion feels so special when applying and removing with the finish it leaves. IMO it's nicer in that sense than Desire, but Desire holds it water bebaviour and durability a lot longer.
For an...
I've only used all the products from AF, except fk1000 wax so can't give a great comparison.
All the AF products are easy to use and give good results whether beginner or pro so you won't be dissapointed, but you get more products with the FK kit
