Love it Mike :)
I am looking at running the 595 RSR's next month as an everyday tyre and a few track days/nurburgring etc. What do you think of them, on track, and both wet and dry on the road?
I have 4 silencers so I am safe too:rasp:
Shame that you will have to quieten yours down Lewis as that is the whole point with your car, it sounds great as is:)
It does say pot luck but that's not worth the risk when you have travelled 450miles to get there. Might be worth taking something like this along http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motorsport/car-preparation/jetex-decibel-insert
Not sure if it just clamps on or requires more?!
I will snuggle up with you;)
I read on nurburgring.org.uk or something that b+b's are £25 a night but hotel's are obviously more. I shall have a look.....
Here is a link to a few hotels that are close to the circuit. Scroll down and all the prices for each one is on the right hand side...
For exact results between the 2 sizes they have to be on the same car and the same tyre. They were Toyo T1R's on a 206. The 205 gripped better.
On my Clio I had 205 PE2's, fantastic all round tyre. It now has 195 T1R's and firstly T1'Rs do not grip as well as the PE2's so this is an unfair...
I think its a personal preference on this one Jon. I have gone from 205's to 195's and will be going back to 205's and sticking with them. I find the overall grip of the 205's better than the 195's and as an overall driving experience, prefer them.
Sorted:)
Thank you for that link Gray. I rang those chaps and I can infact have my rear Eibach springs modified to go an extra 15mm lower without cutting etc. Total cost of 2 springs modified, powder coated and returned is £55
Chuffed
Following on from my previous thread, I have Eibach Sportlines and Sachs dampers all round at present but the rear sits 15mm to heigh when compared to the front. I think the front sits lower due to the ast top mounts but I am unsure.
My question is, if I was to run a coilover spring and...
Sounds like a plan. I will just go with whatever else is happening tbh.
Also, has anyone volunteered to do all the bookings for the crossings and hotels/b+b's yet?
