BTW, even if you do get it working, sharing programs won't usually work.. cus' Windows is crap and usually has to have things installed on both machines.. just because of the way it works :)
On a related note,
\\ip.add.re.ss\ should work regardless of workgroup and show you all of the visible...
Depends where the fan is.. as to how easy it is to change.
Probably quite simple tho.. laptop's come apart easy.. it's the putting back together which takes the time.. lots of screws!
Hopefully, you have the 3Y NBD Dell On-Site Warranty? Then they'll send someone out to fit a new fan ;)
That's how you do it :p
It moves My Documents to wherever you want, and the shortcuts al point to it.
You can move Documents and Settings, but that needs a registry change for sure if I remember.
Built in Windows Wifi Management is always better.\\
The only way in which a 3rd party app wins is if you need profiles.. but, Vista solves this. (OSX, does, too ;))
If you import your songs to a library stored elsewhere, yes..
If you have import, move and manage music into the library options enabled, and the library is on the external drive.. and you unplug it, iTunes will not be happy :p
Preinstalled apps are evil :p
Base install then install what you need == how to do it :p
Ubuntu is all the rave nowadays - based on Debian, but made it sane for most users.
Debian, however, is still my baby :p
As for BSD, they're still the same, heh.
Exactly the problem.
I've stopped listening to people who judge sound and vision.
It's so down to the user..
Some people.. I've heard very good stuff and they say it's crap.. listen to a "recommended" one, and someone else says it's crap. You can't win!
I had a Clifford Concept 300 on my 1.2 (with dual zone proximity sensor) and it never went off when it shouldn't have done.
It's all down to the install! :)
ANNOYING.. I'm typing GB properly.. (as in capital G capital B) but the damn forum is editting it so I don't "shout" so it's coming out Gb which is Gigabits..
I mean Gigabytes of course ;)
Hahahaha.
best. problem. ever.
What it looks like is, the server isn't executing PHP pages, so it's asking you to download.. and Dreamweaver is just opening it by default :)
I don't think it's happening to anyone else, tho? (downloading the pages)
yea, I guess that's the joy of using Linux - you can work how you want pretty easily. If it works for you.. then it's the best thing ever :)
Anyway, wobbly windows > * :p
Haha.
It's actually *very* clever.. and Apple really have done their research.
I too think the main reason a lot of people use Windows is because of Microsoft Office - it's great really.. so they are obviously trying to get this market now.. :)
