The number of studs has no effect on the calipers mate...
However the discs are a problem, but there will probably be some of the same diameter in a 4 stud pattern to fit!
The mk1 had quite a bit less actually, hence why they weight less.
You still get leather/alcantara, ABS, aircon (not climate control), radio-cassette & 6 CD changer, trip computer, etc... but no auto lights or wipers, normal headlights (not xenons), no ESP, no cruise, etc...
If the 182 had been available when I got my Cup Id have most likely gone for one of them...
As for which is faster, theres gonna be f00k all in it on the road!
Well if it has improved the low down torque then its still got less low/mid range power & torque than my Cup (which is standard apart from Viper) and still I do a strong surge at 500rpm!!!
Me vs Dogmaul >>>...
Nah, weve already had all the stuff stripped out and weighed from a 172, and theres no way you can save the 89kg to get the kerb weight down to that of a Cup.
Only saves about 40kg (ish) IIRC by removing spare wheel, rear seats, shelf, jack, etc...
Will deffo improve things though!
Mine is NOTHING like that though...

Oddly a lot of 172s & Cups do have a peaky graph like yours (Dogmaul) but mine is oddly smooth and got loads of mid-range torque!
Yeah, I know they all have the surge, but some more than others...
My point was that the RR graphs are all over the place and can look very different, so no two graphs are the same!
