    NEW 182 ----0-60 in 6.6

No.. the V6 was! ;) However the mk2 172 we used got some very quick times and wasnt that far off the pace of the V6! :o The Cup was brand new though (on trade plates) and we only did 0-60 runs, but that mk1 172 was a duffer and got sh!t times...

    NEW 182 ----0-60 in 6.6

I once got an AP-22 and took a mk1 172, a mk2 172, a Cup and a mk1 V6 for some performance testing... There wasnt a lot between them all, especially on the road from point-to-point, so a lot depends on the driver!

    No power surge

Thats probably because theres less back pressure and the car is making more power & torque low down now, so no sudden step change as the car comes on cam at higher revs... Be interesting to see/hear what other Supersprint users have experienced!

    182 ecu

I was thinking this exact thing the other night... Will an R-Sport ECU work on a 182?!

    Cup 0-60, 1/4 mile times

The "certain magazine" that got 0-60 in 6.5secs also timed the 0-100 as 17.7secs and the 1/4 mile at 15.2secs @ 94mph... However, my totally standard Cup with a mere 1250 miles on the clock ran 15.0secs dead at Santa Pod on the hottest weekend of the year and even with camping stuff in the...

    Cup 0-60, 1/4 mile times

This is probably not an AP-22 then, it will be one of those performance meters... I borrowed one before and we tested 3 cars with it, but it was a tad "generous" to say the least! ;) When we took the same 3 cars to York dragway & compared the 1/4 mile times we got there, they were all...

    KTEC sports cat

Well see what its like when Ive fitted it to the car... Got it already (sat in the garden shed at the mo) and it does look big, but I will reserve judgement until its fitted. If its too big then Ill get the tailpipe swapped! Yeah, if Janspeed are telling you to go to K-Tec, then where are...

    Cobra Monaco vs Sparco Sprint

Cobra Monaco: http://www.cobraseats.com/imx/mon_rere1.jpg Looks a nice seat, decent spec, but sit in one to check for fitment & comfort. Sparco Sprint: http://www.motaworld.co.uk/acatalog/sparcosprint.gifhttp://www.motaworld.co.uk/acatalog/sparcosprint.gif Looks similar, but...

    KTEC sports cat

Bought it 2nd hand matey... Its a single round tailpipe which I wanted, but its 4" so may be too big for my liking and I might end up getting it swapped to a smaller one. Kinda looks ok in the pics on the Scorpion site though >>&gt...

    NEW 182 ----0-60 in 6.6

Yeah, the CTR should have one too IMO... My mate has an ATR (which has an LSD) and he got an 04 CTR as a courtesy car a couple off weeks ago. He was disgusted at the lack of an LSD!

    NEW 182 ----0-60 in 6.6

    Just to set things straight... Cup: 172bhp / 1021kg = 168.46 bhp/tonne 0-60 = 6.5secs (Evo & Autocar) 0-100 = 17.7secs (Evo), but 16.9secs (Autocar) 172bhp DIN @ 6250rpm 147lb/ft @ 5400rpm 30-50 - 4.3 secs (Evo) 50-70 - 4.1 secs (Evo) 182: 182bhp / 1090kg = 166.97...
