Took Chris (chris n nic) ages to get the metal cover off the ECU apparently and he was going mad trying to get it off, so that slowed him down. Apart from that it aint too hard.
Ive already loosened the ECU cover in preperation! ;)

Basically the clutch action on my 03 Cup is light & smooth, has been for the past 5000 miles from new, but for the past couple of weeks its developed a strange trait where as soon as the car gets fully warmed up...

Ive had open induction kits on 3 cars now and not really had any problems, but Rhys did some AP-22 timings with various filter setups and it was slower with an open filter!
There are 2 different versions of Eibachs, one set doesnt drop much, the other drops more, but neither are anything extreme.

If you have a 172 there is a link bar between the rear beam and the brake bias valve, wheras on the Cup there is no link.
Dont panic, the cars leave the factory like that and its correct!
Yes, when it was on the rollers they checked the fuelling and it was a tiny bit on the lean side, but not enough to cause any problems or damage.
Gonna get an R-Sport ECU eventually though, which sorts this out.
My gearbox was exactly the same from new mate!!!
First noticed the whining (1st gear only) after about 2 weeks, so I took it in and they changed the gearbox oil, but it just got worse, so they ended up fitting a brand new gearbox under warranty when it was only 6 weeks old, but its been fine...
Its ok, I personally checked this out on ACTIS and the Cup does not have a link to the brake bias valve according to a Renault technical bulletin I have seen with my own eyes.

Got a Viper on my Cup and we did some tests on the rollers with a couple of cars that showed that there was a small gain at the peak, but the real benefits are in the mid-range as the power & torque are increased where you really need it most!

I had the Firestones on my 106 GTi and they were very good, even in the wet!
Deffo go for these mate, I was very impressed with them and theyre cheap!
As for speed ratings, H is up to 130mph and V is up to 150mph, so you only need H rated tyres.
