as said, 2 sprays on the applicator to get it started, then 1 spray per panel like the wings or door, maybe a second if it starts to feel grabby, certainly haven't use anymore than 2 sprays per panel though.
tripple you will use more of as you work it a little more into the panel, a small blob...
250ml bottles at a guess?
If you run out of either, even tripple which you'll use more of, just doing your own car then you're over applying. A single spray of tough coat onto an applicator is enough to do most panels bar the roof or bonnet
I see them on every site I walk on and they put out a good light, but never used one for detailing.
Up until now I've been using my £200 mountainbike light but in the process of doing the B&Q / sun gun copy as in the ebay link posted earlier.
the closest thing I found was a sub box port. It had to be trimmed a little to fit nicely but remove the fog surround to get it fitted nice, then refit the fog surround and it looked pretty good
G1 can be considered as a semi permanent sealant that will last 12 - 18months +, is resistant to glass cleaners as I occasionally use and starts to bead from about 45-50mph.
G5 (was G3) I only found last 6months on the front screen but beaded from as low as 30-35mph.
G5 is better for perspex...
the 2nd down stream lambda sensor is the one that actually alters the fuelling and identifies if the CAT is not working efficiently so I'd be looking at that 1st
I've never used a product where I would be happy to not use the wipers TBH, but G1 does come close on many occasions. G3 or G5 now was a little better due to it starting at lower speeds
I've had titanium on my wifes car say 6weeks now and beading has dropped significantly but is still sheeting nice, wash down is still good and still providing protection.
Have tempted to strip it back and do a half and half with carbon and get a proper comparison
define working best? as above if it will change colour under water then C4 will bring back the colour. But that is not all it does, as it has UV filters IIRC that will reduce the fade and also attack from heavy caustic cleaners over the years.
I still think revive should be turned to 95% of...
I used my vics collectors yellow and concourse red on a flat red Leon fr and I couldn't really tell them apart, get them both on a metallic paint and collectors yellow showed more of the flake. My recent use of Z waxes show that they do add a certain amount of more depth, maybe even darken the...
I've been using citrus power since it was released and not found it to have any negative affect on a range of waxes and sealant from AF, DJ, GT, permanon. Beading and sheeting still remains also despite the claims on DW that the PH level of it will remove the permanon / C2 sealant. I tried and...
sounds like your referring to G1?
if so remove it in sections, use the G2 / 1:3 IPA and wipe down a section and immediately use a MF to remove it before it dries completely.
Why's that?
From what I've read about BW it's probably best to give the panels an IPA wipe down prior to application, but Toby was be the best one to speak to about it when he comes back in
Yeah great product but do you remember the C5 wheel armour? Same product and needs just as much prep for it to last. Not used it on the softer runners though
For hard plastics AF Revive. I didn't find it worked all that well on the softer window runners on some cars but did on others.
I have a sample bottle of this also you can have
In my experience it had to be blended but the final result was fine. I rejected it the 1st time round and made it quite clear of my expectations and got it done properly.
If you go to get it sprayed make sure they know you will be thoroughly inspecting the car and are happy to reject it and...
Not tried it but I can't imagine the two combined would work as well as a single dedicated product, may be fine if contamination wasn't too bad say when using to strip off old waxes / sealants to start again.
