Sorry chaps I've already let the spray man take them now and he's doing them black lol. I know its been done to death but what hasn't? I think arctic 182's wears black wheels quite well so shouldn't look to bad.. I've done the bright colour thing on my old 182 and just want to keep it subtle.

Tbh it sounds like a dephaser not top end rebuild, rac man probably don't know the f4r engine, heard the metallic noise and thought it would be tappets of something like that, which is fair enough as its a easy mistake to make.So your £750 would just about cover dephaser, cambelt kit, aux kit...

I got all excited and order four rsr's :) The ad08 were near to £100 each in the end so that made the decision easy as theirs a £40 gap between the two.

Stange that I thought ad08's were more exspensive ill have to have another chat with him tomorrow and get him to confirm a price for the ad08. Saying that I'm 90% sure ill be ordering some rsr's :)

How many miles have you done on your ad08's and how much tread have you got left roughly?

Another strong vote for the dci over the 1.2. The 1.2's are seriously turd, their not even economical really for a small little petrol. And the same for the 1.4, you get about the same mpg from the 1.4 as you do from the 2.0 in the 1*2's.

Check you toe setting you may just be towing out a lot. That what mine is like atm and the steering feel horrible atm especially in the middle, I need to get mine sorted.
