yeah so just wire the relay contact on the timer one i showed to open the supply to the relay coil you installed

probably about 0.5 of a amp as it is just switching a relay so i'd say that relay i showed would be good enough to disable that after a set time

i used to run a yellow top optima in my clio. it fits but the leads are a little short iirc here

i remember when i stuck my clio into 3rd instead of 5th after hitting the limiter in 4th but to pick 2nd is just plain stupid

i'd up it to 80hz for the hpf and lpf bass boost to off then set the hu to the max volume you listen to it at and set the gain to suit it

philips, osram, piaa, ring are the big names really. i still stick by osram as i find their lamps better in general

well the switch is automatic so displays the last thing switched on but it does sound like you need a boosted splitter

well for £80 you can get an auto switch for hdmi (3 in 1 out) a splitter (1 in 2out) and a 20m hdmi lead?

can you not use hdmi? as they are easy to get hold of

can't comment on the philips but the osram ones do give out a nice light but they don't last that long as a trade off

i'm not 100% sure on electronics but i'm sure you might be able to fit a capacitor on the input connector and it might filter the interference out

clipping is where the output voltage tries to be be higher than the voltage rails inside the amp so the sine wave has a flat bit at the peaks the common way to measure it is with a cathode ray oscilloscope

you can't have too little power though it's an underpowered amp thats clipping it's tits off that kills most

there is only 2 ways to break a sub and that is way too much power or too much clipping

so your saying that if the gain is set to 8v and the hu is outputting 2v you will still get full power? as you won't sorry well what does 48volts into 2 ohms give as the book with the amp says i should set it to 44volts to get the 1000w?

yeah but is the gain set so it gives it the full berries as 3x the power is asking alot tbh yeah the Rips tech is a brilliant piece of engineering as my 1000/1 hasn't put a foot wrong running at nearly 1200wRMS :)

well it is it's thermal handling power if it's can't dissipate the heat it is going to cook the voice coil so you have got the full 750wRMS going into it? if so thats some good going
