Blowing fuses with. cig lighter splitter ?

Hi run an Ipod device and a 'Snooper' radar device through a 4-way splitter. Been using it about a week but now every time i put it in the cig.lighter thingy it blows the 15 Amp fuse !! Any ideas why please when it was working fine ??

put a 30 amp fuse in? although you will need to check the operating current of everything else plugged in to make sure it can handle up to 30 amps

DO NOT increase the size of the fuse

i'd say there is a problem with the splitter

I had this happen recently too. With a 2 way splitter. Looks like the splitter briefly connected + to - badness. Where's the best place to pick up the half size fuses, most kits or garages only have the normal ones.
