Autoleads one which is what they would have supplied you will indeed need dash removal, unit I sell is cheaper and will allow it to be fitted in 5 minutes, plug and play, no dash removal. If you do want to fit the autoleads one this is the bit you need...

Unless you buy the Pioneer OEM fit units no tweeter is a straight replacement but the hertz units are one of the easier to fit, small amount of filing needed to the tweeter mounts. I can beat the price on these from 99.9% of people and have to you buy tomorrow. Matt

Check the continuity of your stereo earth with the indicators on, if its intermmitant earthing then you need to run a seperate earth

Yep LG did it as they dont come with an ISO harness all the pins go straight into the back of the stereo therefore your problem

Pin 1/2 cant remember which off top of my head is speed pulse, if the stereo they fitted has a mute pin in it at that pin (was it jvc by chance) then it will cut out the speedo

Afraid youll lose the changer, get a stereo with ipod, aux in or usb, so much easier. Yes you can still keep the steering control functions

Business or professional unit? If its business then its unlikely to be amped, id just put an aftermarket unit in (especially if its a tape deck!!), if its professional then its a bit more work.

Wiring should already be in the doors, just a case of putting on new speakers terminals then bolt in the speakers

Autoleads have to be done with stereo reset completely to factory if you have had it in for a few days prior-you have the correct unit etc

for the hassle just get a complete unit

If its that mangled I would get a new one as its not going to work quite the same again and you will probably find you have to pop it off every 5 minutes. Only comes as a complete unit anyway iirc
