I recently took my car out for a blast one night and thought the handling was a bit sqidgy and not as sharp as I thought it used to. Checked my tyre pressures and they were down by about 4psi all round. set them to the correct pressure and Im happy to say the handling is alot sharper and no...
No problems with mine, even to the point of having hardly any rattles! Mines done 9.5kmiles. The only issue is the exhaust rattle at about 4250rpm which I get when cruising on MWay at around 85mph, so I either 80 or 90mph. Hardly used any oil either. No paint problems, no starting problems...

Sandy dont tempt me! Had a look at pictures of your motor and is stunning, but I dont think the other half would agree its a good move if I changed my brand new car again.
Why dont you keep it and buy a cheap diesel runaround to do the milage? I would have kept my coupe for a long time if I...

Sandys,
Welcome to the forum, I recognise your name from the Fiat forum that I use to frequent when I had my Silver LE. Clio172 is definitly cheaper to run than the Fiat Coupe especially if its over the standard 220bhp which yours is.
Pity youre selling it as I sometimes wish I still had...

Not exactly the most accurate, but with a stopwatch, rolling from second gear, I got between 5.9 and 7.0, average 6.5 secs over several runs on a stright flat road with half a tank.
My prevous car, a Fiat Coupe 20V turbo did it in a smidge over 5 seconds, it could get to 70 in 2nd and had...

Putting alloy wheels does not mean its sporty. A Nissan Micra has alloys but you dont see Sport or whatever their performance dept stamped all over it. As the 1.4 16v has had no imput from Renaultsport it why add sport. Its like adding an "M" badge on a BMW 316i and everyone knows theyre...

Having looked at an old issue of Autocar doing the 0-100-0 test, the TVR Cerbera 4.2 got to a 100 in 9.8 seconds. That is fast by any car standards. However, it also tests the Suzuki GSX-R1000. I dont know much about bikes so cannot say if its comparible to a Yamaha R1, but this Suzuki gets...
At the moment it seems that ClioSport seems to have been invaded by drivers of other cars. Although this is a Forum for Clio owners, its good to see posts from owners of different cars. We have cars ranging from Honda CTRs, Audi S3s, Ford Mondeos, Saxos, XR2s to name a but a few and most if...

"I dont drive dangerously, u just got to know when to overtake, and when to block the other car over taking you!
I remeber the VTR I was burning off last month, we were in the fast lane of the A12 going to Southend, I was a cars length ahead doing 60, but about 400meters ahead I spotted a Merc...
Lets just all be thankful that toofast is in a 1.4. Had he got a 172 or a V6 there could easily be one less clio on the road with his "risky" driving skills.

Given the choice between a 1.2 Clio or 206GTI and you had to get from A to B in the quickest possible time, which car do you think you would be quicker in?
Surely this has got to be a wind up!
I beat a Caterham R500 in my Sinclair C5, though this is not ordinary C5, its been upgraded to 2.0KW Hotpoint Washing machine motor.
