Theyre not really performance cars though so they get lower spec engine. From the Wiliams 150bhp to Clio172s 172bhp, Id say that was progress.:)

I saw a Clio DCI with 172 xenon lights! I take it Xenons are an optional extra now. You can get aftermarket HID light conversion but I think they are in the region of £500

Forget poor fuel quaility, dirty injectors, clogged up air filters, blowing exhausts etc, I loose over 100bhp in performance whenever other half is in my car! Rev limits is reduced to 4000rpm, top speed has dropped to 50mph and can only corner as fast as a Reliant Robin, hell, my acceleration...

Paul, youll have no trouble with a 2.0ltr spider. Driven a 2.0ltr GTV and they are pretty gutless below 3500rpm, and come to think of it, not much after that either. Straight line drag the Alfa has no chance. In the bends, the Alfa driver will be too pre-occupied with the scuttle shake.
