Well this weekend I went to get the Striker from Hereford. Quite a long drive from Kent, but well worth it. Took about an hour to load her all up and strap the car down. There were 3 boxes of assorted parts, 1 set of wheels with Yokohama A032's, 1 set of wheels with Eagle F1's, 2 spare wheels...

Ok try this... 1. Take your time. 2. Don't stand too close to the fence/side of the track. 3. Try and keep the car equi-distance from you as you pan 4. Pan whilst following a particular part of car, a wing mirror, an advert etc. And just keep practicing. If you zoom out then its easier to get...

Very much so. If you don't pan it doesn't work.

The faster the shutter speed the better the hit ratio of sharp->blurred roughly. Here's a 1/250 (Resized for web use) And a 1/80... I'd stick with something like 1/250 to be sure of not wasting your day. :)

Usually around 1/250 or similar if panning - depends really.

Have had problems in the past in moving email from Thunderbird to Outlook or back to an IMAP server when I've performed workstation upgrades. Anyone else had problems leaving thunderbird? Any solutions or alternatives? Looking for something free :D ta.

Snoop, I've got a ping running in the background on the routers IP. I'm running through all the possible subnets starting from 255.0.0.0 until I get "reply from...." Is this the best solution?

Ok i'll get cracking. The routers IP is definately 213.210.36.186 so I should have the subnet in a few mins

I have no idea.... what a mess. I presume the destination is the subnet? maybe? Thoughts?

Hmmm unsure now... It says the IP is: 213.210.36.186 and the destination is 239.255.255.0 thoughts?

cheers snoop! I set it capturing and there was lost of ARP request from my laptop and then... ka pow! an SSDP notify request from the router with resolved IP. Ba Da Bing!
