Yeah cool. I've never changed it so I would presume its still valid. If we could find a LAN MAC scanner which would bring up device details we would be onto a winner.
I'm going to take a gamble as i've discovered stuff before with SNMP. FIngers crossed. It started at 0.0.0.0 and its up to 0.3.21.80 so its battling through it. Its got about 3 hours before I need it!
We have a great tool from sonicwall whereby you run it and it locates all the sonciwall...
I've got that running mate. As per my original reply..
If my laptops IP was 10.0.1.1 and the routers IP is 68.43.90.189 would it still eventually find it after scanning all the ranges??
The only plus thing is I'm pretty sure its on the same subnet
Ok guys all very helpful but its kind of mission critical we work out how to get onto this router. Its isolated and attached to another pc so I need some kind of scanner to locate it.
I can't replace it with a Cisco as 1) its not my money and 2) its not my router.
Now if we could get back to...
Dude i'm not even that close... i can't even log on to it... if i could, i'd know its IP ;) I've just got lots of this..

Wanderer - theres nothing that indicates that the internal lan range will be 192 based. It has a 4 port hub built-in of which i am cat5'd into.
I'm also connected through serial to it where it keeps saying "Retrain the line"
Have dug an old D-Link 504 ADSL Router out of the cupboard at work but have no ide what its IP address is.
Anyone got any suggestions as a possible way to find out?
Thanks
shop around - get a better quote then go back to Bell. If they value your custom then they should do you a deal. Don't stay with them unless its the right price.
s**t isn't it. There should be some kind of investigation into how crap insurance companies are.
Oh knobble - I forgot to say, make a note of every phone call, time/date and whom you spoke to and what was said in case you need to complain.
