From what I've read on here, to clay you need the car to be wet anyway - people use some spray detailer - so I think it would be fine claying in the rain... might be a bugger seeing which bits you've done though. I wouldn't polish/wax though tbh.

Yes they are thinner. In fact, there looks like there is next to nothing on them in comparison. They just keep going on and on. Especially if you're not on track. The rear brakes do so little on the Clio. You'll also find your discs go on for miles on the back too.
