As cup wheels work on a standard 172 without a prob, then 182 wheels will have no prob whatsoever as the offset different is 10mm (cup->172) but only 7mm (cup-> 182)

Power Engineering lads (Actually Dave @ London Superchips + the RR operators) are a great bunch, had mine done a long time ago and it was great, good gains for the money, and later they did the fitting and mapping of my separate Omex ecu too - I trust them.
Yup, you can build 2 lots of NCB under your own name, no probs, thats what Im doing....... but of course if you dont have a second car for a couple of years you lose that second lot of ncb like you do with your first policy.

I have 2 clios, the mk2 172 "Heavily modded" (All declared) and the Williams 1, neither are on limited milage policies, but I pay £800ish for the 172 including all mods and using my full protected NCB, and the Williams I pay just over £1k decat and chip declared with no NCB.
£800 for a "full respray" sounds very low to me, hell the labour time to strip it to a bare shelll and to put it back together would be probably at least that
What are you wanting? have you already got a steering wheel, but just not got the boss to go with it? and when you say you want the seat runners for a 172 are you wanting it to put aftermarket seats in? if so which ones?
