Anyone no if its possible in a cup/172 and like the cup racers this will mean 0-100 in 10.5 secs!

Of course u can - u can get any colour you want on your clio if ur willing to pay for the car plus another 3/4 K for a pouintless respray - the cup comes in one colour and unfortunately is not an option on the 172 or any other clio - the new Megan and Avantime use the same colour also though as...

Robb the new micra rangetops out with a 1.4 16v and it only does 60 in 11.9secs, so where the 10.2 came from i don t know - nice looking car though, set of 18s, dropped - yeah i may go for that......................

The ecu has to be diffent -the cup doesnt have side airbags, air con, traction control, ABS, xenon lights, ESB etc so therefore a new ecu would be required to deal with less info! Afterall the ecu is the brain and controls all things in and on the car - the 172 has all these addtional...

We should ask them for some hardened facts - independent RR results/AP22/racelogic timing or something - If it improves 0-60/0-100 and in gear acceleration Im all for it, but it would need to give a 0-60 of 5.9 or less or else the Focus RS still has the "official" quickest dash in this segment!

IF you look on the french renault site http://www.renault.bewww.renault.be they have an option on the renaultsport clio 2.0 16V (note they dont call it 172 coz it aint - technically with them ) they have two versions one rated 124KW and 120 KW - whats all that about - I reckon thats the jean...
