Why do they refer to a table? that can only be guess work.
By using a real time reading from the collection of sensors they could produce a much better result?
Im not sl*gging you off, but just confused as to why they refer to a fixed table, say you have being driving around in dusty...
Why would Renault make the 172 refer to a set table at WOT? Im sure not all 172s will suck in the same amount of air? This could cause damage to the engine as you say! Why would they go and bypass the sensors? makes no sence to me?
The guys at ITG said they cant see why it should run lean, and...
Cheers ppl.
I spoke to Haward & Scott the other day, they said they will need the car for 3 days. Not really very practical at the mo. :(
Jimblive is your magnex system cat back? how much louder is it, and do you gat any drone at motorway speeds?
Im only after the back box. I dont think I...
lol I can see that on my 172 ;)
I think the cup race cars use a hole in the head light unit where the bulds etc would of gone?
The other option is a bonet vent feeding directly into the air box?
Whats the difference on the Cup air box? Jayc?
I have thought about this so much, I really cant see a better way of getting air to the box, mite as well extend the pipe which goes down to the wing to the fog?
The best way have to be some sort of feed from infront of the rad. But god knows...
Its a sad state of affairs :(
In New York they had HUGE trouble a few years back, then they started the zero tolirance policy, guess what it......it worked. You need to inforce the law at all levels!
I hope the bloke pulls through, how can someone do that to another person? They need putting...
Got a bigger responce than I thought.
Still cant decide, the Alfa is better looking IMO, but the Fiat has the Turbo rush? what to do?
It would seem the Alfa is cheaper to run as well?
I just want something quicker than the 172, must handle well and be reliable. Oh and cost no more to run...
Thanks Twit, yeah the Alfa could be on the cards. 220 bhp, NA to :devilish:
Prob keep up, well depends on the driver eta, but its those times when your on a straight road and just want to be pushed in the back of the seat mmmmmm!
Porker could be a very expensive motor if things go wrong...
Just poped one in my 172 :D
Nothing ground breaking, just a very well made replacement. No noise difference as far as I can tell, it pulls a little harder at the top end and seems a little more resopnsive.
£43.48 including vat & delivery.
Recomend it to anyone, it will pay for its self...
The part number is WB351
Its just the replacement filter.
The Maxogen kit is nearly finished I belive? But that will be expensive I belive, around £250 ish maybe £300?

Its not the police who will look at your car, it will be the insurance ppl. And its quite easy to spot the Viper or whatever induction kit you have fitted. jaimie is talking about a BAD crash, car could be f88ked etc.
Its just so easy for the insurance ppl to get out of paying, they will...
That diff would put me off, especially considering the state of the roads my way!
I think they look great, looked a lot bigger in the flesh, very tall I thought. I think they have the same track as the WRC cars, they really are very squat. Nice.
Try having your insurance company (elephant) telling they wont cover you full stop, if I fitted a Viper to my 172 :@
Yeah I agree with jimbo9999, if they found out you had an induction kit, you are FCUKED
BenR
Sorry for being less than perfect in my description of "axel tramp" you will have to excuse us mere mortals for not knowing everything about everything in the world of car mechanicals.
What I was refering to in my igronant fashion was when driving a powerful font wheel drive car, in my...
Yep cant agree more Mike, Civic TypeR would be a real beast.
And yep it was a mighty 1.4.......really does get up ya nose, makes the 172 seem a little slower than you thought lol
Mite try that teady172, could sort the thing out for me.
Yep thinking of an Alfa GTV 3.0ltr now, But why should I have the hit and miss luck of getting a good Clio! Renault really are a long way off the mark as regards build quality, and I mean that in all respects. They produce great...
Rhys you have a good one, want to swap? lol
I really cant tell you how stupid it feels to have some 1.4 Civic tail you, and then to get away you have to nearly kill yourself.........not my idea of fast!
But then on the way home you could be in 2nd gear, out of a 40mph hairpin, lean, and bang...
MMMMMMM E55 would be PERFECTION, big V8, BIG POWER,BIG TOURQE, oh well we can all dream I guess..............ah...
