I got told off at Goodwood a couple of weeks back for coming thru the chicane on 3 wheels all the time. And that was in a practically roadgoing clio 16v.......easy enough to do.....
Highlighted the need for better suspension to keep the car flatter........

Hi All,
Firstly, I want to take this opportunity to thank all the new customers and friends I have made from this board since I started the company back in April. I hope that all of you have been satisfied with the service and it really is nice to meet so many people so enthusaistic about...
Tiger,
Make sure the cable is routed correctly.
If it is then the guy who did it is not a dick and your pedal (complete with self adjusting mechanism) needs replacing.

Had no end of problems with Clifford alarms on cusotmer cars as well as customers complaining about them to me. Ive had 2 cars with Toad alarms on without problem. Im in the throws of having a new alarm fitted to my Lotus and it will be a Toad.

All,
Can anyone recommend a good mobile alarm fitter in the south? I want them to come out to my house and fit an alarm and immobiliser and I will not let the Lotus out of my sight, let alone leave it with any of the alarm places.
I had a Toad Ai606 on my Williams, anybody got any...
I think you will be able to pick a speed signal up from the electrical connector on the speedo cable (dash end). Might be simpler than picking it up from the ECU. I am unsure which pin the speed signal is sent through I will try and find out.

I have first hand experience of this. Yes theyre a different part. Why, I do not know but they are. I also know a 16v one can be bought almost instantly, a WIlliams one not - I waited over a month for a Williams one, and then never got it.

I am also seriously considering a Mk2 V6 next year. I read responses to this post with interest. Will be a struggle selling the Lotus though so make them convincing!

Bleed the air out the system by turning lock to lock a few times.
Common thing is for PAS fluid to seep from the small pressure relief hole in the top of the cap. Due to excess fluid or air.
Noisy pumps are commonplace.

Compression ratio is the relationship between the cylinder at zero compression (BDC) and volume of the cylinder at maximum compression (TDC)
So in simple terms, if the cylinder capacity is 100cc in total, and 10cc when compressed, thats a compression ratio of 10:1 - The fact the two terms of...
You are sposed to depressurise the fuel system by disconnecting the fuel pump relay and turning on the ignition etc...
If you undo the lines, you will get an initial spray of fuel (have a rag handy) which will then die into a trickle and then disappear. Make sure you wipe excess fuel up and...
Great, had one of them already, but now filed under this car....
BTW - I dont run a scrap yard, in fact I hate that term. Mail order parts is my main business, but Im just starting to dabble in salvage....and this is not really a car I want to sell on as it is, so Im taking the option of...

Last Clio Williams 3 arrived at my place last night. Taken some rather shoddy photos of it on my phone, but will be taking some higher quality ones as the repairs commence.
