I suspect the main pump to rack high pressure pipe is split. It runs from the pump under the engine along the subframe to the rack itself.
Fitting a new one requires the engine to be lifted.
If you would like me to price the job for you, drop me an email -...
Thank you for the comments.
I am basically running the business as I would want to be treated if I were a customer. Simple as that.
I am glad its working.

Very difficult to find a good one. It took me over a year. And 12 cars. Also difficult to source parts for. Many items now being re-manufactured or reconditioned.
People with good ones tend to keep hold of them - thats why theyre good. Get a rough one and it will eat money like theres no...
It remains the fastest production saloon ever produced. M5, RS6 etc are all limited to 155mph.
More pics available, email me for them.

Alex,
I own and run the company. Website isnt finished, will it ever be! I never seem to have anytime to finish the bits I want to finish, although I try and keep our stock parts upto date as much as I can.
All the engines I sell are videoed before the cars are dismantled. Theyre also...
Roamer - the whining is indicative of the belt being too tight. If its too tight, theres a risk of it breaking.
Bit of adivce - Renault are the last place you want to trust with a 10 year old car - they know nothing about them anymore.

I started a register of them but then lost interest. http://www.cliowilliams.co.ukwww.cliowilliams.co.uk

Guys,
Ive currently got Rajks clio williams in my workshop for a few bits and pieces, and to investigate the wandering steering - I think I have found the problem (theres a mountain of play in the pass side inner ball joint) - but my question is to the techie guys, is it possible to remove the...
OK Seven kings in Essex.... I know it now.
The car was pruchased from Whitehouse motors (formerly Marchants) in Tunbridge Wells. Not sure where the guy lived, but obviously from this info, he lived north of there, in Essex.
Car was purchased by me from salvage company in Bury. But was...
Well I only had it confirmed today Tony!
I confirmed with the supplying dealer - some of you may remember an R reg with delivery miles for sale about 2 years ago. This is the one - had the whole story from the dealer......
Got it in writing as well which is handy.

As for value - god knows. Its currently on the HPi register, but the repair will be inspected and all being well, the car removed from Condition Alert and placed on Condition Inspected.
If anyone wants a price, please email me mailto:paul@infinicar.com">paul@infinicar.com
Can assure you the...
All,
I have bought the last Williams 3 off the production line - and the last one to be registered in the UK, on a R Reg. Its been in a shunt, and will be repaired in the coming months. Pics to follow. 4050 miles. Any collectors out there want it after its been repaired ;)
Cheers
Paul
Good point Nick - we had a similar thing happening to a customer car - replaced the ISCV, TPS etc and still happening. We then had the engine out, to do a clutch and when I put it back in I put a new speedo cable in as the old one was stretched, and hey presto no more idling issues.
