Ive got a powerflow exhaust on my valver, its a cat-back system, and im very happy with it. I was a bit sceptical about getting one ( i mainly did because it was a 10min drive to powerflow, or 2hr to predator), but the workmanship is excellent, and the sound is also good (not too loud, but has...
I did wonder. I dont normally rise, but that really grated me! Sorry for the slight rant guys.....
Top pics by the way Dave, comments made me chuckle!:D
After a few ideas that may help me here please!
I have had my alternator replaced today (after dieing last night), and since i have had my car back when i lock it it is making an awful screeching noise, as if it is catching or not quite connecting somewhere. It is still locking though. I have...
.....do they do one specifically for the Clio? I am struggling to find any info from them about one. Has anyone got one from them at all? Any chance of some pics whilst were at it too?!
Cheers

Hi,
I had the pin code disarm shown to me (and i used it because he didnt show me how to turn the immobiliser off!) when i got my C5, have never used it since then though. It should work if the alarm is disarmed, and immobiliser is just on, though it should be the same as if the alarm is fully...
I work in Ashford, so spend a lot of time there too, ill have to keep an eye out for you. Dont know of any 16v in Folkestone, few round Ashford though. Rare for me to see a member down this way..!
Im from Hawkinge, just outside Folkestone, you local? Might go down a see them at Dover, if not its looking like Essex/LOndon is nearest at the mo. Cheers for the info Diamond Geezer and Dean, much appreciated.
Looking to get a custom exhaust done soon, wondered if anyone has used a Powerflow dealer or similar in the SE, and would recomend them. Preferably in the Kent area. The Southern Speed Shack in Dover is the nearest to me, anyone been there at all?
Any recomendations appreciated.
Cheers

I had my old 1.2 professionally done, and the guy who did it levered the window with a screwdriver and a cloth, and just popped the whole window out. Went back in fine. Hope thats some help.

Tough one, looked at 106 Gtis and Civics when i was looking for the Valver. Glad i got the Valver though! Maybe go Jap, or a really new car for my next one - not gonna be for a while though, the Valver is too much fun.....
Sounds like a pretty good deal Patty, my old toad cost me £300 + then about £120 extra for central locking!! If its Thatcham one it sound be decent.
Hope that helps!

Have no idea which kit is better, although the spax is adjustable on the damping i think (?). The apex kit is supposed to be really good value though. The brake bias needs to be adjusted because the rear brakes think you have a heavy load on board (because the car is much lower), and so bite...
