It depends on the rest of the exhaust system, for example Weights k-tec 4.5" loud exhaust wasnt raspy when it had the cat on, but with the straight through de-cat it turned raspy - it had a damn good sound tbh, loved it, sadly its all changed since then :( Boooo

You should be able to use a reverse thread extraction tool to get the rest of the bolt out (easyout or whatever theyre called). When trying to get the torsion bar out did you first absolutely soak the splined sections in wd40 or similar to make sure they had the best chance of getting them out?
Now come on Iain, weve gotta look after ourselves and others, cos you know damn well that if the dealer even so much as thinks he can get away with it hell try just to save cash.
Hmmmm weve got a mk1 pedal on it now, and I know there are a couple of fault codes up because the ecu cannot read the 2 pot tracks on the pedal.... oh and if anyone can thing of a way of overcoming that it would be great :)

Felt, wanna tell us what youve done to ya cup so far matey? sounds like youve been doin a fair bit on it already, new exhaust on the way too yeah? what is it?
Yup the lag is a standard feature of Renaults FBW system, you can convert it back to a cabled system, but is not easy as you have to change pedal/throttle body & ecu - but it has been done - there are a few cups from my local dealer that were changed round due to issues with the FBW system.
... and iirc some people have had problems with the ecu lights coming on with the sports cat... dunno if this has been sorted yet, but there is no problem with a straight decat.

And throttle bodies aint just a do-it-and-leave it type of mod, cos once you start tweeking cams and headwork etc etc and you can really see some gains - more that with a single body....
And remember Craig that you cant just keep tweeking in the boost on a turbo without other serious work...
