Pipercorss or green replacement element - any one fitted either to their cup?

K-Tec do some sort of system that allows you to adjust the front camber by + or - 3 degrees - this is what the 172 Cup has 3degrees negative camber - its in their new catalogue somewhere at the end - ring up and ask them!

Green do a homologated filter part number P450367 costs £35.41 from them direct and has 2 layers. Id go for the green as its a french motor and they supply the filters for the alot of french race series cars.

its only on 172 rear bumpers - u have the colour coded bumper then a plastic black insert recessed in. Look at any of the photos on here.

Anyone with a 172 done this yet - think it would look good - the black plastic strip in the lower bumper done in real carbon fibre - some of the big mercedes and bmw SUVs have something similar!

Mike - did you notice any noise/power differnce?

Anyone changed the standard element - pipercross, Green, JR, K&N? Prefer Green or Pipercross, but dont want a full induction Kit?

Renault dealer here in Crosgar, Northern Ireland seliling brand new Uk cups for £10995 also Mk1 Demo showroom car is now £10495 I reckon u could get them down to £10 at least! Very low mileage!

Danyyboys Cup is pushing out 186BHP as standard - it wouldnt take much to push this to 200 - the RSport Ecu will though!

Thats what I was told, it said 500 in the brochure, press release, and in Julys Evo, and what my renault dealer said. Initially they made 500 obviously sold them and they obviously made another 500. U drive one yourself - surely u did ur own research on the car u were buying - dont rely on...

Also forgot to mention its a 2.0litre turbo from the Vel satis! Should be quicker then would have thought - they should ditch all that weight and make it quicker!

Also they are also considering striping it out and leaving out aircon and creature comforts like the cup - raw and ready!

Check out Autocar this week - article on Megane RS "0-60 in 6.5 and 140 top end" Twin exhausts a"halfway between the Renaultsport 2.0 litre and the clio V6" With a 0-60 of 6.5 you can be sure itll be quicker. Cost between £16K and £18K - not bad, may have to trade the 1600 in wneh it arrives...

The 1.0 litre clio in revs? - All 1200 8V or 16V clios old and new have a capacity 0f 1149cc which actually makes them technically closer to 1000cc than 1200cc - the 1.0 clio in revs was a 1200 coz thats the samallest engine the clio comes with.
