Matched inlets upto gasket-the ph1 inlets are a pi55 poor match
changed plugs while i had the inlet off
order a ktec sports cat,fitting kit and mount so hoprfully il.have it running this weekend
Can someone confirm which wire is live when ignition is on in the connector block behind the headlight adjustef on a ph1 172 (im assuning its the same connector taped up as the esp on ph2s?)
I cant find my multimeter to test

Iv hit a snag with the link pipe (decat welded to a 172 centre section) i bought that doesnt fit like i was told

All was going swiftly and nearly ready for test drive,fee lil bits to go on and this has stopped me dead
that was supposed to link the 182 mani straight upto the back box and its got the the end chopped off
My ph1 is currently running the 172 cup supbframe arms and springs/dampers and epas
This will be pretty much road only so im not wanting too sacrice to much comfort hence the cup set up
im fancing a white rear arb and when they need doing purple powerflex lower arm bushes

looka like il have to block the heater pipe off,the pipe needs to be right where the motor joins the column-not a huge loss but a lil irritating
awaiting some 25mm2 cable to reroute the battery into the spare wheel and the epas and cup conversion is done
Going to spray the clock insert...
the heater pipes still out at the mo(removed for access) but from.memory it connects up away from the motor-it looks like itll slot straight back in
il try tomorrow
Remove ac pump,replace the lil pulley right next to it with a shoulder/groved pulley and measure up for a belt to suit
the pulley i have for my ph2 needed a few mm of washers behind it to line it up
should be done for circa 30
The dci rack has only 2 bolts instead of 4 mounting it to the subframe
Perfectly safe on a derv thats pottering about but im dubious about it on a sport
Anyone else got a dci rack on sport? Any issuess?
Quick update,the epas rack is in,damn thing took ages to get the motor in its bulky,had to split int in 3 and build in situ
problem i ran into was the airvent pipe ran right under the colunmn so it had to come off,hopefully itll refit or itll be blocked off to avoid overheating the motor
next...
Iv got the column from the cup still so if that comes out ok il have a barrel and blade
the issue im having is if i cant get that blade out i have no physical key for the doors so if the fob fails or the cars battery goes im doomed
Il see if it can be cut open some how
