The dci rack has only 2 bolts instead of 4 mounting it to the subframe
Perfectly safe on a derv thats pottering about but im dubious about it on a sport
Its a long thread though. You need to f**k about with wiring, change the rack, setup something for the aux belt, and buy a couple of extra bits. Not to sure on any weight saving, but you can at least change the effectiveness of the PAS.
My car isn't used on the road. Any idea if anyone has done it with the Aircon and associated alternator setup? Or is the cup alternator setup essential?
