Epas conversion poorly mounted

The dci rack has only 2 bolts instead of 4 mounting it to the subframe
Perfectly safe on a derv thats pottering about but im dubious about it on a sport

Anyone else got a dci rack on sport? Any issuess?

Have done around 1500 miles with mine now, mixed driving, the rack (dci) has been absolutely fine

Cant remember the names of the people with them but a few have.

I've used my DCi just as hard as a sport (has widetrack, quite low, solid top mounts) on the road and on track with zero issues.

Its a long thread though. You need to f**k about with wiring, change the rack, setup something for the aux belt, and buy a couple of extra bits. Not to sure on any weight saving, but you can at least change the effectiveness of the PAS.

My PAS pump is whining - I'm wondering if this may be easier than changing the pump and risking the pipe leaking afterwards, as it often does.

Its ideal for a track car rather than a road car IMO. Its a bit of overkill (work wise) on a road car vs just replacing the pump.

My car isn't used on the road. Any idea if anyone has done it with the Aircon and associated alternator setup? Or is the cup alternator setup essential?

Mines a non cup alt on iirc r5 alt brackets
