I was told (when having a remap on my F7R williams lump) a set of verniers would see gains on standard cams. Not sure how much but he definately thought it was worth a try. This was from a very well respected tuner by the way.
Not sure about F4R. Same principle though i'd have thought.
surely if you buy the 254 you wont need a vario lance as the lance it comes with is variable unless the vario is adjustable like a hose attachment rather than high or low power.
Mite of been me. Only 2 williams in Aylesbury.
I sometimes used to stop and talk to a lad called Jason in a vw golf if he was in there when i went shopping. Normally with his mates, Dale, Ricky etc.
Only when shopping.
Not one of the broadfields boys that hang out there all night. I've stopped once or twice there to talk to a mates lil brother but thats it.
I'm a bit old for all that, 28 lol
I live in Aylesbury, drive a mint williams 2. I see a lot of 182, 172's about. Normally always in my daily drive though, R plate Astra.
I'll flash you if i see you. Either williams 2 private plate C20 WMS or R plate red astra.
I'll go down the pressure washer route. I've got one but ordered a gilmour because i wanted suds and lots of them, plus i wouldn't have the hassle of plugging extension in, but i've been messed about loads by company who i ordered gilmour from so i'm now going to tell them to get stuffed and get...
Williams 1.
Saw you today just at end of Wendover bypass. Anyone from here?
I see you in my daily runner most weekday eve's between wendover and amersham bypass.
Williams box is stronger. The main shaft is bolted in rather then pressed.
Only reason a williams has to use 3 gears to get to 60 is because the standard limiter is set at 6500 whereas a 16v is 7100.
A rev limit raise to 7100 see's a williams hitting 64 in 2nd and mine has been timed at...
Pain in the arse getting pressure washer out all the timer though means running extensions etc. Hose is easy hence the gilmore chain of thought.
Dont worry i'd make sure asll s**t is off last thing i want is scratched paint.
I was wondering if the foam slides off or not.
I dont mind drying, don't take that long. I use a hydra blade and a autoglym synthetic chamois. Done in 5 mins.
I prefer to dry anyway, means i can study the car / paint then.
Thanks for the answers mate.
Going to order one now :)
Sorry about all the questions. I'm a big hand wash fan but heard good things about the gilmores and always have 3 cars to wash most weeks. my daily runner, my williams and the mrs's cc. Just thought it might make my life a bit easier.
Anyone got one and got anything to say about them, good or bad?
Thinking about buying one.
Do you just spray it on car, use a wash mitt to clean and rinse off? or do you still need to use 2 buckets of water etc. Can you turn foam off and use bottle to rinse car or do you have to put normal...
Maybe ;)
I'll keep a eye out for a meet. Drop me a pm when next one is and i'll make a appearance. I'm a moderator on WC and might be able to organise a few people from there to come too.
Scott
Yeh was me in my williams 2. Rare spot as it only comes out on sundays. Drive a shitty R plate astra in week and when miss's makes me take her shopping.
Exhaust isn't too loud lol Magnex exhaust, decat and supersprint manifold. Amongst other goodies.
Was gonna post on here and see if it...
