Mine didn't before I unlocked it I don't think. I had to put an 02 sim in it and connect to itunes, then repeatedly try and unlock it before bingo! Can't you get 02 to unlock them now for £15?

Thanks for all of the replies. I've tried all of the above, bar pinging (don't know what that is or how to) to no avail. Can't use a static IP cos of talktalk.... Sometimes our other laptop won't connect either, showing limited connectivity etc,.. which makes me think it's the router/ISP...

My old sky netgear router is on the blink after 3 years, can someone recommend me a new ADSL router, as cheap as possible, that will cope with hd streaming on my local network and the usual stuff. I've looked and looked, and it seems there's a big difference in prices... Thanks.

How many reviews do you want? Some prefer tt, some copilot. Like anything, it's subjective. I had both, I binned off copilot. Use tt most days with work, simply it works.
