I think the Denison looks really bad.
This will not be going into a clio, most probably a vauxhall but it will need to have a brushed aluminuim finish.
Guess Im not going to be able to do this but the trouble is I wont have room for a changer and no room to store CDs/MDs :(
All my local dealers quoted over £300 so Im going to be taking it to R-Sport in Wimbledon. £160, bargain! And they are a Renault Authorised Service Center.

If you press the reset when you see oil ok it will show you the os
Full: 00000 (guessing there are 5)
Empty: -----
Me: 00---
Checked the car at the weekend before I head to Ring/Spa - noticed that I only had 2 Os on the oil trip - Im thinking that might be a bit low?
What do you recon?
What should I top it up with?
Rang the next nearest and was told 24K was a big one - LOL - and said it would be £300, I said it was not a big one and same as the first so got a quote back of £250 - they must make this sh*t up!
hahahahahahaha
Renault London West quoted me £325 for a 24K service on a 172. Hahahahahahaha
Sorry, I cant stop laughing. The 24K is the same as the 12K (according to handbook) and should be around the price of £160-£180 !!!
I think it depends when the car was registered - IIRC the date for registration was around Sept 2002, if the car was registered after this then I should be given the full 3 years warranty. Unfortunately if your car is 2 years old then this seems unlikely and will probably only have 1 years...
If it was me I would get a red one :)
I think you have to ask yourself, can you live with another Renault / Clio - if the answer is yes the get the V6, for me tho, the answer is "probably" no.

They probably have a number of restrictions but if you are not too young with a few years NCB then you might get a good price.
Ive been using Elephant for the last few years as they have been very good, but gave First Alternative a go (the sister company to the annoying esure - who wont insure me due to the 172) and they were £150 cheaper than Elephant - woohoo !
Well thats where my money for my new xbox has now come...
Set up a funny ebay auction for the burnt out car with pictures - those things get millions of hits - everyone heard of the guy wearing the wedding dress or the guy selling he cheating girlfriends knickers.
My new 172 broke down twice :(
Once at 2,500mile in France - had to leave car there
Second at 5,000miles on motorway - luckily just outside services
7,500 miles was a worrying time I can tell you!

Mine has recently been replaced (under warranty) and it took the guy about 1 hour to do. Looked simple enough but you have to remove things like the wipers etc to get to it.
Agree with Silver - dont put it through a car wash!
It will scrath the paint - youve seen cars that in the sun have swirl marks all over the car - thats what a car wash does - bad news.
If you cant wash it yourself then take it to a hand cash wash place, anything but a car wash.
Thanks for the maybeV6, Im trying to work out if I should swap my 172 for a lovely V6 or Z in the future, but at the moment Im wearing my sensible hat and thinking maybe just swap for a 182 and pay off a big chunk of my mortgage.
Biggest problem for me is that I live in london and have a tiny...
I had a blast with one in my 172 - no idea what model it was, it gave up a reasonably fight but still and easy win for the clio - and he wasnt best pleased... (not that this really helps you!)
