Re: 182 track weapon attempt
looking good mate, might want to think about welding a harness bar to the cage though??!!
understand why youve gone for big wheels to fit the big discs but the standard 280mm are more than big enough with 4 pot calipers.
15" wheels are tryes are a much cheaper as...
few more hrs on it this weekend should get it boosting round the block..... on 3.5 cylinders lol
list for you to get.....
coolant, thermostat, 2.5" and 2" exhaust clamp, brake fluid, a meter of clear beather pipe or summert to bleed the brakes, n/s rear disc and bearing
oh my days..... thats it, im getting a 5 at the end of the month :-P
looking forward to the updates, shame about the rear end but very fixable i think even the mint ones have inner/outer arch and sill issues nowerdays!!!
stunning mate, proper classic kit car, i will own another one one day :-)
is it me or is your rad fan missing a few blades, mite be worth replacing/ipgrading that if your having a few temp issues??!!
get some mk1 16v alloys for less than £100 on ebay and stick some 195 50 15 hankook rs2 rubber on them, cost about £50ish a tyre!!!
or ph1 oz wheels/team dynamics if you have a little more cash to spend!!
no, the center bore isnt big enough you would have to get them mechined out to fit.
et45 is a bit on the high side too imo, you would need spacers for it to look good!!!
there isnt a right or wrong answer to your question, geo should be set up how you think you want it and change it if it doesnt suit your driving style/look your after!!
yes this might mean 2/3/4 trips back but if you get what you want in the end its money well spent imo!!
i would go with koni adjustable kit and lower to about 35mm and a rear arb so you have more adjustability for road and track and get the geo set up and corner weighted then play around with tyre pressures/shock stiffness until your happy with a set up that suits your style of driving.
lol at chickening out, on 2nd thoughts i quite like having a face....
the first wheel i think has been re-furbished....badly!!
its saveable with a bit of proper sanding priming and painting but wouldnt have paid as much for it if he knew it wasnt brand new!!!
the little drive i had it seemed...
lol almost as bad as me in my earlyer years of driving!!!
white hybrid is the best of the bunch!!
strangly a pulsar is quite high up on my wish list, not 100% why but there is just somthing about them :)
Re: 1.2 Track car Conversion
nice work, not pointless as you learn so much from playing around and, know everything is 100% right and how to fix stuff when it breaks if you do it yourself!!
i always admire built not bought....
