Golf will not be as much fun as a Cup, better build quality but 1.8T isnt the Golf of choice, my Diesel one is faster and the R32 is the only Golf to potentially embarass a Cup. I would go for the showroom car.

I ran my 172 in for 600 miles then thrashed it, changed the oil to a race spec type at 1500 miles and the car started first time everytime and ran more smoothly for the first mile and warmed up quicker. Hope everything goes well, I cant wait to get my GTi.

Supaguard on the interior is just Scotchguarding the interior under another name. It is not a bad thing especially if you have children, but is often expensive for what it does.
